How To Copy The User Accounts From One Database To Another

Problem Scenario:

User created new Security System User for users of the system and is needed the same Users for their newly created database.

Resolution(s):

System Users can be copied from one database to another that will also have the same users/roles via the Export/Import feature. 

Go to Maintenance > Users. Select one or all or whichever user roles you need to export to another database.

Right-click > IO > Export > to Xml

Save the file in your preferred folder and this file will be the one to use for importation on the other database.

After saving the file, go to the other database where it will be imported. Right-click > IO > Import > from Xml

Select the file which you have exported from the previous database

You may now link these Users to it’s corresponding Role.
