How to Restore Manual Backup of Delphi Database
Overview:
Restore Database is being done if the currently used database has been corrupted, or to produce another database with the same master files and transaction data but different Database Name.
Procedure:
1. In the Log-in page of the selected Database click Cancel.
2. Then go to File > Utilities > Restore.
3. In Backup File click the triple dot (…) then go to the Backup Folder, select the backup file to Restore and click Open.
4. Next, in Database File
click the triple dot (…) then go to the Folder where the restored database will be saved. Provide a file name then click Save.
5. A new database will be created, input the new name under Company Name then click OK.
6. Wait until the restoration is complete then click Close.
7. System will redirect to the Log-in page of the new database.
